Project: Garage Organization
With a team of 4 people and the owner, we went through all the boxes helping the client decide what he/she wanted to keep, donate or toss. We then created ‘zones’ of the key areas: gardening, camping, tools and storage.
We added another shelving unit to ‘containerize’ and labeled the shelves so everyone would know where things went.
Project: Playroom Organization
We determined our ‘Big Picture’ goal: To change the room to a playroom for the client’s son and display his lego creations.
We then sorted and purged all the shelves. Anything that didn’t have to do with his toys and hobbies were taken out of the room. Anything that wasn’t of sentimental value to the client was donated. We worked together for 10 hours. The client worked alone for 20 extra hours.
Once sorting and purging occurred- shelves were cut.
The TV was installed and shelves were set up and liners put to display the lego creations.
Over 20 large construction bags were carried away and over $1,000 of items were donated to different charities in 2 days.
